Regardless of whether the Jujutsu Kaisen anime resumes as a third season or transitions into a theatrical movie, akin to Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, recent U.S. sales data provided by Circana underscores fans’ reluctance to wait for the unfolding narrative. According to ICv2’s report, following the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 in December 2023, the manga volumes experienced a remarkable surge in sales. Notably, in January 2024, Jujutsu Kaisen dominated the Adult Graphics Novel rankings, securing seven slots within the top 20. Volumes 16 through 20 claimed positions ninth to 13th, with the latest English-translated Volume 21 seizing the third spot, trailing only behind the new releases of Solo Leveling Volume 8 and Chainsaw Man Volume 13. It’s noteworthy that all listed volumes, except for Volume 1, delve into the anticipated “Culling Game” arc, further igniting readers’ anticipation.
